1. From my penultimate film. I think I’m going to try and send the picture in for a photography competition of which I saw a poster at school. Just in case that someone would actually perceive the dust and dirt (which I absolutely hate and were in no way intentional) as something cool or vintage. The entry is supposed to contain also a 100-200 words commentary in english.

Friday night’s lesson on color-expression with Mgr. Josef Dudek. Although the captured moment is not of an exceptional nature to me, I consider it worthy of a record. Not only that these lessons have given me the ability of taking an idea and putting on paper - the teacher remains nothing short of a revolutionary to me. After more than a decade I spent in the czech educational system (public and catholic) he proved for me that teaching can be done the good way. Positive motivation exists. It is both possible and beneficial to place the responsibility and the privilege of choice on the student, rather than trying to force knowledge down their throat hoping that the little that sticks will make them whatever fits our distorted vision of a better person. One only needs enough courage to break free of the communism relic which the current, commonly used, curriculum is.
